Air & Electrical Services installed this Trane rooftop packaged air conditioner at our local Ace Hardware store in October 2023. The job took a little over 5 hours to complete. We used the same footprint to avoid using a curb adapter for this job. Thank you to Heartland Crane for picking up and setting the unit in place without a hitch.
What you should know if you need a rooftop air conditioner replaced:
- We will need to have your parking lot clear of vehicles in order for a crane to get close as possible to the building.
- We will occupy your parking lot 4 to 6 hours on average.
- Your job may be delayed due to bad weather.
- For busy areas, we may ask you to allow us early morning access to your building to avoid or limit traffic exposure.
- Most rooftop air conditioners are not stocked in large quantities like residential equipment. Since the Covid pandemic – we have see delays as long as 9 months for replacement equipment to arrive.
